International Sport Karate Association (ISKA) in association with Aerostrike, will be running seminars and workshop to keep all their officials up to date with changes in the UTK rules used in ISKA tournaments. These seminars are becoming compulsory, as today's competitors strive towards a higher standard. Australian and state legislation are after highly experienced instructors with certification.

AEROSTRIKE® KICKBOXING/KARATE NEW COURSE FOR MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY

Aerostrike® Kickboxing/Karate
becomes part of Melbourne University Sport's Semester 2 Group Fitness & Aquatic Short Courses program. The courses are designed to help make a difference to your life, whether it be acquiring or improving your lifestyle, health, fitness or just having fun.

Instructor: Stavros S. Sensei (Master trainer with 25 years' experience)

Friday 18 August, for 9 weeks, 12-1pm
Venue: Mind Body Studio; Students $100, others $110
Accelerate your fitness and burn up to 1000 calories per session. This course is structured for beginner's right through to advanced levels. You will learn the latest Kickboxing techniques from the USA involving partner and bag work. All styles and levels welcome; feel free to wear your club attire or comfortable loose fitting clothes.

AEROSTRIKE™ FREESTYLE KARATE STATE CHAMPIONS AT THE WKA TOURNAMENT

FREE-STYLE KARATE
participated in the World Karate Association State Championship Tournament for Touch Contact Martial Arts, held in October 2002.

AEROSTRIKE® AEROBIC SELF-DEFENCE GOES INTERNATIONAL

AEROSTRIKE® AEROBIC SELF-DEFENCE has become a part of the fitness program in an international gym. In June 2001 Aerostrike® was accepted by the Sui Genesis Fitness Club, Vasilisis Georgiu, Thessaloniki, Greece. Aerostrike® Aerobic Self-Defence, created by Stavros Saristavros in 1998 teaches males and females a new concept of self-defence in the aerobics studios. Aerostrike® is the combination of aerobics and various strikes executed in the martial arts.

AEROSTRIKE™ KARATE ACADEMY THORNBURY DOJO + 4.30pm MINI JUNIORS

AEROSTRIKE™ FREE-STYLE KARATE
is happy to announce the new Thornbury Dojo and a class back at the Clyde Street Dojo. The new Dojo will be held in the Aborigine Advancement League Centre, 2 Watt Street, Thornbury. The Centre is situated behind the Thornbury train station, off Hutton St, between High St and St Georges Rd. (Melway Ref 30 F3). Juniors will also be able to train at the Clyde St Community Centre on Saturday at 9:30am. For full timetable details click on the Junior, or Senior karate pages.

AEROSTRIKE™ FREE-STYLE KARATE 4.30PM MINI JUNIOR TIME-SLOT
Aerostrike™ Free-Style Karate is also excited about the inclusion of another time-slot for Mini Juniors, held at 4.30pm on Tuesday and Thursday. This will allow the juniors to learn skills at their own pace and level, while the teens and advanced juniors' skills are strengthened at a more progress rate.For full karate timetable details click on: Juniors, or Seniors.
